I have found the One my soul loves. Song of Songs 3:4

"The gift of religious vocation is rooted in the gift of baptism but is not given to all the baptized. It is freely given and unmerited: offered by God to those whom He chooses freely from among His people and for the sake of His people."
Essential Elements in the Church's Teaching on Religious Life III, I, 2 (cf. Perfectae Caritatis 5)
Every person has a primary vocation to be holy (the universal call to holiness). In fulfilling that call, a young woman is drawn to a greater sanctity by responding to the life that God is calling her to live. What is most necessary when discerning God's holy will is growing in and deepening one's prayer life.

It is strongly encouraged that a young woman who is discerning live the daily elements of the Communion of Reparation Lifestyle: Holy Mass, Holy Hours of Adoration, frequent Confession, and the praying of the Rosary.

Come & See Retreats

Register now for our upcoming discernment retreat for young women ages 18-35, which will take place from
March 14-16, 2025!

A Come and See Retreat is a beautiful opportunity we offer for a young woman who is moved to a profound love for God and desire to do His Will. Each year, at least two retreats are held in the spring and fall season for single, Catholic women 18-35 years of age.

These retreats include participation in our communal prayers, the chanting of the Divine Office, adoration, Holy Mass, Praise and Worship, and recreation (faith-filled fun) with the LIHM Sisters and other young women who are discerning. They also include talks given by the Sisters, priests, or associates of the LIHM sisters who can testify to their mission of being leaven in the world. Above all there is a personal holy hour you spend with the Lord who will be exposed throughout the whole night - an hour that can transform your life.
